Pay per hour:  $11.30 per hour

Hours per day:  2 hours

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• A criminal Background Check is required.
• Ability to stand on feet for long periods
• Experience working with children preferred

REPORTS TO: School Principal/Assistant Principal

 

SUPERVISES: Students during the lunchtime routine.

 

JOB OVERVIEW: To maintain a safe environment in the school cafeteria.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

•  Please assist with the organization of students when they arrive in the cafeteria.
•  Assist students with their needs while they are having lunch.
•  Monitor student behavior in the cafeteria.
•  Assist with duties necessary to rotate groups of students during the lunch hour, such as cleaning the table.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Timesheet required. Hours are limited to the time needed for serving lunch—placement on the support salary schedule for a 175-day contract. The salary and work calendar are to be established by the board.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: School Cafeteria and Playground

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

EVALUATION:  In accordance with Board Policy and appropriate procedural regulations. The Superintendent or designee will be responsible for completing the review.

 

SALARY RANGE: In accordance with the Enid Public Schools Support Negotiated Contract.
